A word about TRAILERS

Little lightweight trailers are a nightmare.  Maybe for you on your end it works great. This would make sense because you have the weight on it, but once that weight is gone, this small lightweight utility trailer becomes a huge liability because of the roads we drive. It will bounce like a rubber ball on some of these roads.  As you can imagine this could cause damage.

IF the road was mainly paved, it's not that big of a deal, but running the main, middle fork, selway and even out of Pittsburg Landing - invest in a heavier duty trailer, one that the driver can see in the rearview mirror, please have the lights in good working condition.  Check the bearings every year, pack them good, even if it's only been in the water once since the last time. Trailers are and have always been the biggest cause of grief.  Not too many people put a lot of thought into trailers, until they can't use them and instead of spending a few bucks for greasing the bearings they now have to pay anywhere from 100-500 to have it fixed.

PLEASE REALIZE THIS, TAKING WEIGHT OFF OF A SMALL LITTLE TRAILER MAKES IT LIKE A RUBBER BALL. PLEASE REALIZE THE ROADS ARE NOT GOOD, AT TIMES THEY GET GRADED, BUT THEY DON'T STAY THAT WAY!!!! PLEASE REALIZE, A TRIP MAY TAKE 12 HOURS WITH AN EMPTY TRAILER.  A HEAVIER DUTY TRAILER IS THE SMART CHOICE, ESPECIALLY ONE THAT THE DRIVER CAN SEE IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR.

Bottomline:

We are not responsible for equipment failure due to road conditions.  If we drive a small lightweight trailer without any weight on it, and there is damage from simply driving your vehicle in a safe manner, YOU are responsible for this.

Please invest in a good trailer, and PACK THOSE BEARINGS and HAVE A SPARE PLEASE!! 

 
 By checking yes, I certify that I as the owner am responsible for a full tank of gas, checking my oil, and all other upkeep of my vehicle and/or trailer when dropped off, and I list the problems with my vehicle as honestly and specifically as possible. I also certify that I am responsible fully for the insurance coverage on this vehicle and I hereby agree to hold Salmon River Services, LLC, All Rivers Shuttles, and the drivers contracted out by named above harmless of any liability or damage to my vehicle/trailer or personal property. In addition, if there are any extra fees, such as gas/oil  or miscellaneous costs I agree to be responsible for this, and will leave implicit instructions on how that is handled. Should there be a major problem with my vehicle, I authorize All River's Shuttles to contact my emergency contact number if there is one provided.   Should any repairs be necessary, we will follow your instructions as per your form.    By signing this form or checking yes I am agreeing and stating that my vehicle being shuttled is fully insured as required by law and that I give permission to drive my vehicle for the purposes of this shuttle.  I understand the person driving my vehicle is a legal, licensed driver. We will make every possible effort to provide for the safety of your vehicle during the shuttle, however we cannot assume legal responsibility for any vehicle or personal articles including fire, theft or vandalism that may occur while vehicle is parked at a parking lot area or landing, any accidents or for time or cost arising from any indisposition. I understand that the roads we drive are hard on vehicles and trailers and any electronic damage from this because of the road I will not be held liable for.  I understand that the road driven may be rough and poorly maintained.  I will not hold All Rivers Shuttles or the drivers responsible in any way for the damage done to the ascribed vehicle and or trailer while en route or parked.

I understand that it is my responsibility to read my confirmation e-mail . We will pick up and deliver vehicles according to your instructions and answers. It is in my best interest to notify the emergency contact about my float plan should there be any questions that All Rivers Shuttle may need to know.

I Have a Full Tank of Gas or near full and/or have left some money to have it filled with gas and or oil, transmission fluid, etc and I have started the vehicle and drove it more than a minute with my spare key. I have also given the key to the lock on the trailer and checked the oil, liquids, tires, spares and bearings on my trailer and/or vehicle. If I have not left a key and need to cut the lock on the trailer in order to repair it, I agree that I will not hold All Rivers responsible for this nor charge them for the lock. I will disable the alarm system or describe the alarm system in detail with instructions to All Rivers Shuttle so that they may be able to drive it.

 In case my vehicle becomes inoperable, unsafe or unlawful for any reason (including but not limited to: engine or mechanical failure, security issues, ignition or gas cap key problem, electronic issues, no spare tires, I authorize All Rivers Shuttle to exercise the option on my behalf that I have stated on the form, or to use common sense.

I authorize to pay for all reasonable expenses upon receiving my vehicle.  Permission is hereby granted to drive the vehicle above and it is covered by public liability and property damage insurance that will cover the vehicle and shuttle driver. The vehicle and or trailer has at least $100 deductible collision and comprehensive insurance. If it does not, I understand that I am liable for charges resulting from any deficiency in coverage.

 I also agree that if I cancel, and not give 24 hour notice, I will be charged for 1/2 of the fee, unless it is an emergency or the water levels prevent me from doing so.

Should I cancel, If will do so in the form of written confirmation, via email or mail or in person at least 24 hours before my launch date.  If I do not, I am subject to pay 1/2 of the charge except when water level conditions or emergency situations arise.  If I do cancel before 24 hours, and my credit card is charged, you will receive a check within two weeks after it is processed minus 3.5%.

I am agreeing that the form I have filled out is my personal/business vehicle.  I am the owner of this vehicle and once I give you my keys, I am held liable for any and all damages to this vehicle and or trailer. I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR LEAVING THE KEY!!! IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE THE KEY WHERE YOU SAID AND WE CANNOT FIND IT, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO DELIVER YOU CAR!!!  PLEASE LEAVE US A KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 If I choose yes on the form it is the same as my signature.  If I fill the form out for someone else's vehicle then I am liable for any charges.
